I love the material and how it fits with the matching vest. If you want more of a perfect fit around the waist or above the belly button I think XS would do it. However I got a size S and it's nice paired with the vest. For reference, I'm 5'2" and 118 pounds with a muscular build.

Skirt quality is super great--the material is thick and is not flimsy. Regarding sizing, I'm typically between sizes (US 8-10) and opted to buy an XL per the sizing chart recommendations; however, found that the skirt was a bit too large for my waist. Next time, I'll be trying a Large!
